Jeff has been a coach with Pure Basketball for four years. In his first year, Jeff was an assistant who helped guide the 13 and Under Pure Boys Basketball team to the AAU Nationals in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Jeff has three sons in the program and has a wealth of basketball knowledge to pass along to the kids at every level.

Jeff played AAU basketball in Arkansas for the Arkansas Lakers from 1988 until 1993. Each year they won the state championships and advanced to the AAU nationals. Those teams placed in the top 16 every year and finished as high as third in the country in the 17 and under tournament.

Jeff also played high school basketball at Little Rock Parkview High School in Little Rock, Arkansas from 1991 through 1993. While at Parkview there Jeff compiled a record of 93 wins and ten losses and won two state championships in the process. In his junior year his team finished the year ranked number four in the country and had eight players on the team receive division one scholarships (Stanford, Florida State, Minnesota, Auburn, Murray State, Samford, Arkansas Little Rock & St. Louis) and two go on to make it to the NBA (Derek Fisher – LA Lakers & Quincy Lewis – Utah Jazz). Jeff received All State honors twice in his high school career along with a Street & Smith’s All America Honorable Mention his senior year. After his senior year he received a Division I scholarship to play basketball at St. Louis University.

While at St. Louis University, Jeff played on two NCAA teams and one NIT team during his career. He finished his career as one of only 10 players in St. Louis history to accumulate over 1,000 points and 600 rebounds in a career. Jeff was on the All-Conference Third Team his senior year.

After college Jeff signed a free agent contract with the Denver Nuggets in September of 1997. After eight days in camp he suffered a major knee injury and never played professionally again.

Currently Jeff is the Group Vice President in the northeast for Keefe Group. He managers over $170 million annually in sales and oversees 450 employees in his region. He received his degree in Criminal Justice and has a minor in Education. Three of Jeff’s high school and college teammates are assistant basketball coaches at Division I schools and he has two brother in laws, one of which is an assistant basketball coach at a Division I school and the other is the Head Soccer Coach at a Division I school.

Jeff is married to Ellie Harris and has three sons Skyler, Samari and Xavier.
